writely - The Web Word Processor

Check out this web-based tool. This shows how the world is moving to thin-client applications. I really like the colloborate feature and it also supports multiple formats such as Open Office, MS Word, PDF and others.

Satheesh, The new thing is it's web-based. Now you need not install all those costly softwares in your computer. You just need to have a browser. These tools don't address all the needs. But when things improve, people will slowly adopt these kind of web-based tools. BTW, I don't want to say that the thick-clients will not have a market place in the long-term. That's a tough call. :)
